The Israel Association for Theoretical Linguistics (IATL) was founded in 1985 to encourage research in theoretical linguistics in Israel. IATL members work in a variety of theoretical frameworks on all branches of linguistics (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, computational linguistics, sociolinguistics, language acquisition, etc.).
This year’s conference, IATL 36, took place online on July 11-13, 2021; it was originally planned for October 2020 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic has been postponed. Details about the next conference, IATL 37, will later be posted here.
Since IATL 17 (2001), we have published the proceedings of our conferences online.
