The Israel Association for Theoretical Linguistics was founded in 1985 to encourage research in theoretical linguistics in Israel. IATL members work on all branches of linguistics (syntax, semantics, phonology, morphology, pragmatics, psycholinguistics, computational linguistics, etc.) in a variety of theoretical frameworks.
Since IATL 17 (2001), we have published the proceedings of our conferences on-line.
The 30th Annual Meeting of the Israel Association for Theoretical Linguistics was held at Ben Gurion University, Beer Sheva, on October 20–21, 2014. More information is available on the following page.
The 31st IATL conference will take place October 13–14, 2015 at Bar Ilan University. The call for papers will be published on this website and also distributed through the LINGUIST list.
